Born Oct. 18, 1831, in Maryland, married Dec. 14, 1852 in Sangamon County to Isaac T. Darnall. He died on Sept. 10, 1871 and she married, Feb 11, 1873 to George W. Taylor, and live in Cooper township.

Children from the first marriage: HILLERY W., JOSEPH E., BENJAMIN F., CHARLES A., and MARYLAND.
