MINER - At the residence of M. A. Miner [Marcus A.], his son, near this city, Wednesday morning, Nov. 5th, 1879, Rev. J. P. Miner; aged 80 years, 1 month and 9 days.
The funeral will take place from the M. E. Church at 2 p. m. to-day. Deceased was a minister of the Baptist Church and was universally esteemed as a good man and a faithful Christian minister.
