During this time, Esther's mother, Ruth and brother Amos Warrick were also living in NE. After selling the store C.J. and Esther then moved to Preston, Kansas, a small town west of Wichita. His brother, John and wife Rachel, were living in Kansas.
By 1900 C.J & Esther were living with Hattie (also known as Effie) and her husband John Eagleson & two children in Boise, Ada County, Idaho.
