Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Ezell Martin, 76, wife of D.P.L. Martin, of Chesnee, who died at her home Wednesday morning after a short illness, were conducted at Piedmont Baptist Church Thursday afternoon by the Rev. R.P. Lamb and the Rev. W.Y. Henderson. Interment was in the churchyard.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: E.O. Martin of Fellmere, FL, Mrs. E.F. Wall, J.C. Martin and J.W. Martin of Chesnee, and one brother,the Rev. W.G.P. Ezell.
Pallbearers were A.M. Cash, James Ray, Furman Ezell, J.L. Parris, C.C. Lawson and Mal Procter.
Flower girls: Frances Wall, Sarah Martin, Rachel Ezell, Inette Martin, Selma Ray, and Clara Wood.
