Funeral Services
BLACKWELL._-The funeral of Joe Warren Blackwll, 25, 536 South Walnut, who was killed Saturday by a train, was held Tuesday from the McVey Mortuary. Rev. Charles P. Knight of the Pomona. Methodist church officiated. A quartet Neal Baxter, William Driver, Warren Jones and Lawrence Stevenson. accompanied by Miss Helen Osburn, sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross," The pallbearers were Howard Bridwell. Kenneth Reddick, Clyde Ferguson, Glenn Ricketts, Wayne Lodwig and Paul Trump. Mrs. Max Pickering, Mrs. Glen Ricketts and H. C. Duchesne, Jr.. arranged the flowers. Those present from out, of town were: Mr. and Mrs. C. W. McCullough, Rantoul; Mr. and Mrs. Nowel Wright and Kenneth Wright, Osawatomie; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Krueger and Junior, Richmond; Mr. and Mrs. William Lambe, Lane; Mr. and Mrs. E. E Glenn and Ralph Glenn, Sedan; Miss Audra Glenn, Arkansas City; Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston and Joselin, Peru: Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Gordon, Quenemo; Mr. and Mrs. J.H.Parkinson, Mr.and Mrs.Ewing Lawrence, Mrs. C. A. Hughes Mr.and Mrs. E. M. Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hardy, Mrs. E.J. NeeIy, Mrs. C. D. Baxter, Mrs.Charley Rodgers, Miss Wilda Rodgers, J. A. Hudelson, Mr. and Mrs. 0. J. Bushnell, Misses Alice and Mary Ellen Hunter, Leslie Hunter. Miss Fannie Krause. Mrs. E. King, Mrs. R.
