Married (1) Eliza Jane "Jennie" Downs about 1856.
Children: Alfred Z., William Henry, and George Herbert.
Daniel & Eliza lived in Detroit as early as 1860.
Daniel was a telegraph operator & later had a grocery business at the NW corner of Randolph and East Fort St.

Married (2) Adele Cora Fish on Oct. 13, 1872 in Farmington, Wayne, MI. They divorced about 1884 & she married Robert S. Baker in 1885. Adele died in 1910.
Children: Jennie D., Mary L., Daniel W. Jr, and a baby who died at birth. All of the children died young.

Married (3) Hester Ann (Salls) Foster on Oct 16, 1889 in Windsor, Essex, Ontario. No children.

The funeral of the late Daniel W Beamer, father of Ald. Beamer, took place from his son's residence, 83 Piquette avenue, yesterday afternoon. Rev. Marshall H. Petitt conducted the service. The casket was covered with a bed of red roses, sent by the board of aldermen. The body was interred in the family lot at Woodmere. Those who acted as pallbearers were as follows: Ald. Walter H. Coots, John A. Schmid, Dr. Er. R. Ellis, C. F. Hunt, Richard Pohl, and Alfred Milmine, of Toledo.
