William E. Botkin Dead
William Ernest Botkin, 82 passed away at the home of his brother Harvey Botkin on South Fork, January 26, 1939. Mr. Botkin spent all his life in the Palo Alto community. He was a highly respected citizen. Funeral services were held from the home Friday. Hymns used were “Going Down the Valley”, “My Faith Looks Up to Thee” and “Just Beyond the River.” Palbearers were Will Botkin, Sidney Botkin, Henry Botkin, Lonnie Botkin, George Botkin and Kennie Botkin. Burial was in the family cemetery.
