Victor C. "Vic" Atwood, 58, of Newton, died of complications of cancer on Friday, April 4, 2003 at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton, with burial in Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton.
Friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 7 a the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.
