Survivors: his wife, Mary Avery; a son, Joey Avery of La Grange; a daughter, Martha Thomas of Chicago; and a grandchild. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Greenwell Funeral Home, Taylorsville. Burial: Little Mount Cemetery, Spencer County. Visitation: after 6 p.m. Saturday."
