Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sulphur Bluff Assembly of God. Interment: Sulphur Bluff Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Era Faye was born Jan. 19, 1924, near Mount Vernon in Delta County to Wesley Hedrick Baugh and Etta Artillo Newton Baugh. On June 12, 1946, Era Faye married Charles Hollis Jones. On Feb. 16, 1949, Michael Earl, an only child, was born to this union.
Prior to Charles Jones' death they pastored Assembly of God churches in Sulphur Bluff, Bonham, Daingerfield and Fort Worth, a total of over 50 years of pastoring. The longest pastorate of 37 years was at the Victory Assembly of God, 7101 Airport Freeway, Richland Hills.
During these years of pastoring Era Faye served as church organist, women's ministries director, singer and fervent prayer warrior. She was a dedicated Christian, devoted wife and a caring, protective mother. She also enjoyed yard work and tending her flowers.

Era Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Charles H. Jones; and her son, Michael Earl Jones.
Survivors: Sisters, Vera Garner of Pickton and Novalyne Moore of Sulphur Springs; nieces; and nephews.
