Herman Goldner (1827-1906) Postmaster of Jackson 1885-1889. Justice of the Peace in Jackson from 1878 until his death.

From his obituary: "One of the largest funerals ever seen in Jackson. No one, rich or poor, irrespective of religion, died but that Judge Goldner paid his last respects by attendance at the funeral."
