He married (second) Alice Ward (Jarvis) White on 27 Jan 1904 in Plevna, Reno Co., KS.

Edward died at his home in Modesto, CA and was buried 7 Aug 1934.

Services Are Held For Edward Geist

Last rites for Edward R. Geist, 73, who died at his home on Bodem Street Saturday, were held in the First Christian Church Thursday morning. Rev. Carman E. Mell and Rev. Mr. Morris officiated.

Geist leaves seven children: Mrs. Helen Williams, Mrs. Hazel Greenlee, Lloyd, Clifford and Lewis Geist all of Modesto, and Mrs. Goldie Medsker and Tom Geist of Plevna, Kan.

Interment was in the Modesto Cemetery under the direction of the Sovern Funeral Home.
