Marzell C Balmas , 97, of Monett, passed away October 27, 2009 in Monett Health Care. Marzell was born February 8, 1912 in Jenkins the daughter of Jim and Ella (Henson) Stockton. She was united in marriage to Alvin A Balmas on December 27, 1930, he preceded her in death March 26, 1993. She retired from Jumping Jack Shoe and was a member of the Church of Christ. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Graveside services will be Friday, October 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Waldensian Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Breast Cancer Research.
