WILLIAM "BUCK" BROADY
EL RENO --- Services for William "Buck" Broady, 81, of 708 S Roberts, will be at 3 p.m Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in El Reno Cemetery, directed by Benson Funeral Home.
Broady died Tuesday at Parkview Hospital after a long illness.
Broady was a retired conductor and brakeman for the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. Born in Hart County, Kentucky, he moved to El Reno from southern Oklahoma in 1904. Broady retired from ihr railroad in 1962 after 44 years of service.
He was a member of the United Transportation Union, Local 574, and the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving him are his wife, Lois; three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Jeannine) Schiffman, El Reno; Mrs. Kenneth (Geri Lou) Grady, Dodge City, Kan., and Carol Ruth Broady, of the home; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
