02/04/1902 - BTF - Death at Galion - Joseph PLETCHER died at his home in Galion, last Thursday night at 10:30 o'clock, after a long illness with a complication of diseases. The deceased was born near Ontario in Richland County, June 1, 1855, and has resided in Galion for the past twenty years. At the time of his death, he had obtained the age of 46 years, 7 months, and 29 days. Mr. PLETCHER was a man of excellent character and was of a high standard of morality. He was well-liked by all who knew him, and his friends were many. He was an active member of the English Lutheran church and at the time of his demise was a member of the church council. For a number of years, he had been employed in the Erie machine shops in Galion and enjoyed the confidence of all his fellow employees. He was a member of the Jr. O. U. A. L. and the K.O.T.M. Funeral services were conducted from the English Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the pastor, Rev. N. J. Hadley officiating.
