William Edmund Price was a prominent Oklahoma City building contractor and civic leader. His firms built the historic Skirvin Tower hotel, the Hightower office building and Kerr's Department Store, among many others. Mr. Price was instrumental in promoting the location of the packing firms in OKC, and as a several-term director of the OKC Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the flood control committee, he was very involved in the water control plans for the North Canadian river.
