Funeral services for Bobbie Moore Preskitt-Hobbs, 89, of Bridgeport, will be held 10:00 am, August 9, 2022, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Joey Vick. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery in Bridgeport. Visitation will be August 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, also at Hudson & Torres. Bobbie passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on August 5, in Decatur, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Torres, John Torres, Mark Ortiz, Marcel Ortiz, Ty Deaton, Gage Vick, and Christopher Preskitt.

Bobbie was born July 23, 1933, in Park Springs, Texas to Edward R. and Beatrice Othella Walker Moore.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and sewing for family and friends as well as assembling jigsaw puzzles. She always made her loved ones laugh due to her propensity to Google everything, to the point that she was endearingly referred to as the 'Google Queen'. Someone who bravely fought and survived cancer, Bobbie was a dedicated member of Cuba Road Church, in Bridgeport, for over 21 years.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Beatrice Moore; first husband Wiley Preskitt, Jr.; husband Acie Hobbs; sisters Sue Rhine, Viola Forsyth, Leona Evans, Pauline Hodges, Irene Chunn, and Opal Blake; brothers Claude 'Buddy' Moore and Kenneth Moore.

Bobbie is survived by son Wiley Preskitt, III and his wife Dovie, of Bridgeport; daughters Brenda Shawn and husband Robert, of Bridgeport, Wanda Vick and husband Joey, of Bridgeport, Tina Torres and husband Willie, of Bridgeport, and Tisa Pippin and husband Johnny, of Decatur. She was blessed in life with 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, with two more on the way. She will also be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
