She was one of the first women in the United States to have a mastectomy. My mother Carylee Cannon Forsythe, her granddaughter said that she use to play the guitar and sing. That she was told her grandmother was really sick and after that time she (Camilla) would play the guitar and sing but the guitar fit higher up on her chest than it did before.
