A lifelong Love County resident, Mrs. Mitchusson had worked as a sewing machine operator in the Lorch-Westway dress factory in Gainesville, Texas, for more than 20 years. She and Arley Mitchusson were married September 25, 1969 in Sherman, TX, and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1977. She was an active member of the Senior Citizens, loved to sew, cook chicken-n-dumplings and play chicken foot dominoes. Mrs. Mitchusson was a longtime member of Thackerville's First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Letha Adair, Lennie Stricklan, Odessa Stricklan, Bertha Hobson and Inez Wigley; and four brothers, Weaver Brush, Pender Brush, Cleo Brush and Felix Brush.
Survivors include three nephews: Robert and Lorene Adair of Lutz, Fl., Wayne and Lou Brush of Van Alstyne, TX and Bob and Willeen Hobson of Ada, OK; and five nieces: Carolyn and James Lucas of Thackerville, Linda and Jerry Harper of Marietta, Donna and Phil Whitaker of Oklahoma City, OK, Kathryn Good of Granbury, TX, and Pattie and Larry Robertson of Rubottom, OK.
Great nephews, Johnny Harper, Ricky Wilson, Brad Wilson, Barry Wilson, Ronnie Walsworth and Paul Rottman, will serve as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will be Robert Adair, Wayne Brush, and Bob Hobson.
