Last Rites Held For W. D. Nimmo Here August 27
Funeral services were held at the Bridgeport Bible Baptist Church for William David Nimmo, 87, August 27, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Art Dunham, pastor, and John Baker, pastor First Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Nimmo was born August 13, 1872 in Denton. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church at his death.
Interment was in East Side Cemetery in Bridgeport. Hawkins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were his grandsons.
Survivors include: Lela Pugh, Turlock, California; C. O. Nimmo, Amarillo; Robert Nimmo, Bridgeport; Vera Lummus, Fort Worth; and 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
