WATAGA - Bethaline Pearl McGraw, 88, of 128 S. Johnson St., Wataga, died at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Bethaline was born March 4, 1921, in Abingdon, the daughter of Lloyd L. and Pearl Taylor Curtis. She married Raymond McGraw on Oct. 30, 1945, in Galesburg. He preceded her in death. Surviving is her daughter, Sandra R. (Bob) Pavin of Drakesville, Iowa; a sister, Mabel Osbourne of Monmouth; three grandchildren, Shelley (Jack) Moore of Cape Coral, Fla., Kevin Melton of Oneida, and Robin Melton of Galesburg; a stepgranddaughter, Shelly Melton of Rushville. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Courtney Melton, Ashante Dortch, Deja, and Lyric Williams; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Carissa and Breanna Moore, and Riley Clay. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Bethaline retired from OMC Gale Products after 35 years. She belonged to the Wataga Senior Citizens Group.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.watsonfh.net.
