Talmadge Allen "Buddy" Wade, age 72 of 2393 Antioch Church Rd. died Monday, October 26, 2009 at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Wade, a native of Person County, was the son of the late Ira and Ressie Allen Wade. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters; Etres Henderson, and Nancy Rhines. Mr. Wade was a proud Navy Veteran having served aboard the aircraft carrier Oriskany CV/CVA, working on the flight deck. He was a carpenter by trade, and was the owner and operator of TA Wade General Contracting. He always enjoyed a good trade among friends. He was of the Christian Faith.
Surviving is his companion for 30 years, Ann Regan, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Wade Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Regan, Jr. Regan, Donald Henderson, Ronnie Henderson, Scott Henderson, Terry Henderson, Trinity Whitfield, and R.T. Buchanan.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Brooks & White Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Mamie Regan 2363 Antioch Church Road.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
