DIED.
Moon--Tuesday morning, Dec. 9, 1873, Mr. Reese Moon, of Reading township, at his former residence, of lung fever, aged 76 years.
Thus has death again invaded our midst and taken therefrom one of our oldest and most respected citizens, Mr. Moon has resided in Reading township for over 41 years, during which time he made a visit to California by the overland route. He was considered one of the wealthiest men in the township, and by his integrity of character and many good qualities of heart, had won the respect of a large circle of friends, many of whom attended the funeral.
The body was interred at the Moon cemetery, about one mile and a half south of Streator. He leaves a wife and six children.
