A. J. Hatcher

A. J. Hatcher, 424 West Eighth, died Monday at 8:45 p.m. A resident of Ada since 1885, he was born in Alabama April 3, 1880, son of James F. and Cora E. Martin Hatcher.
A retired Tinker Field employe, he was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He and Miss Martha Newman were married in Sulphur May 8, 1958.
Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Martha Hatcher, two sons, J. W. Hatcher, Oklahoma City; and J. S. Hatcher, Pampa, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Wigley, Paoli; and Mrs. Lula Mae Ferguson, Garden Grove, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Dottie Reed, Ada; a brother, E. M. Hatcher, Paoli; a step-son, S. K. Buckmaster, Gardenia, Calif.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Agnes Schroder, Redding, Calif.; Mrs. Thelma Phillips, Roff; Mrs. Bernice Reed, Ada; and Mrs. Lucille Bush, Los Alamos, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Lamar Gosnell and Rev. Frank Jones will officiate. Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Roff.
