A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
Mr. Norris was born May 21, 1919 in rural Montauk, Mo., to Jarrott and Rosa (Auterson) Norris. He was raised in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri. He served in World War II as a flight instructor and service pilot in the Army Air Corps. He graduated with honors from Arizona State University and started Taylor & Norris Agricultural Chemicals & Supplies with a business partner. It later became Norris Chemical Company and most recently Norris RV, operated by his daughter, son-in-law and grandson.
He was a past president of the Arizona Agricultural Chemical Association and Los Conquistadors and was a lieutenant colonel in the Civil Air Patrol. He was a charter and life member of Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodae
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Elizabeth; a daughter, Lela Herman; three grandchildren; four stepchildren, Gayle Cherry, Malcolm McKinley, Mike McKinley and Maurine Dillahunty; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Ruth Whiteside Norris; four sisters, Violet Owens, Bertha Blackwell, Doxie Smith and Alberta Long; and a brother, Paul Norris.
