OBITUARY
"Rebecca M. Taylor was born in Surry Co., N.C. October 18, 1828 and died at the home of her son in Sioux City, Ia. March 15, 1920.
She was married to Daniel W. Taylor, October 18, 1849 and to this union seven children were born, three girls and four boys; five children survive her. She came to Nebraska in 1873 and located on a homestead on the Daily in 1874 and was a resident of Dixon County for forty-six years.
She united with the Methodist Church in her early life and lived a faithful Christian life."
