Ronald "Jocko" Jordan, 70, Breaux Bridge, La., died Monday (Oct. 26, 2009) at his residence.
Survivors include his adoptive mother, Ceola Firebaugh, Perryville, Mo.; two sons, David (Connie) Jordan, Carlock, Il. and David Wine (Jennifer David) Miller, Carencro, La.; one daughter, Teresa (Brian) Leggett, Normal, Il.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepson, Robert Savoie, Carencro, La.; two stepdaughters, Davie Ann (John) Cox, Carencro, La., and Shannon ("Jabber") Wilks, Breaux Bridge, La.; one brother, William "Bill" Dale Jr., Bloomington and one sister, Karen (Gene) McCough, Perryville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile Babineaux Jordan; his parents, William Dale Jordan and the former Virgina Eileen Shroyer, both natives of Bloomington and one stepson, Michael "Hippie" Savoy.
