Born on September 9, 1894 at Daniel, Wasatch County, Utah. He married Charlottie "Lottie" Hazel Thacker on January 3, 1916 at Hagerman, Gooding County, Idaho.

It was at Hagerman Valley, Idaho on January 3, 1916 that he married Charlottie Hazel (Lottie) Thacker. Four children were born of this marriage of which three - Lila Rae Moore of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hazel Haegle of Menlo Park, Califonia and Lamar Bell of Tigard, Oregon survived their mother who died July 30, 1982.

With the untimely passing of Glen's brother, Ray Bell they helped to raise eight of Ray's children (their nieces and nephews).

Glen passed from this life on April 19, 1958.
