Mr. William Bergstresser died at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon Co, Huntingdon, on Wednesday, June 16 1926, from the effects of blood poison, which ??? in his arm a few days previous. He had been taken to the hospital on Tuesday, but nothing could be done for him. Mr. Bergstresser was born in Waterfall, November 18, 1856 hence was age 69 years, ?? months and twenty-eight days [69y, 06m, 28d]. He had resided in Waterfall all his life. On June 22, 19?5, he was united in marriage with Josephine (unknown) Bergstresser, and to their union seven children were born, three dying when quite young. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Paul and Matt, and two daughters, Ruth and Mamie; also by a brother, John, who is critically ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. M. Mills, of Tipton, PA. This leaves only one member of the Lewis and Rachel Bergstresser family. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church on Saturday, June 19, Rev. C. Gall? Norris officiating. Interment was made in Bethel Cemetery."
