Jesse Irene Albright passed away August 10, 2010. She was born on November 20, 1918 in Luella, Texas, to Karl Preston and Mattie Francis Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents and she was one of 11 brothers and sisters. She was resident of Loganville, Georgia, for the last two years and prior to that she lived in Oklahoma City for 70 years. She and William F. Albright were married on September 2, 1939, and she was preceded in death by her husband in August 1998.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rosa Lee and Jess Welch; one son and daughter-in-law William F. and Lynette Albright; two sisters: Wanda Gilley of Oklahoma City and Francis Harris of Dallas, and one brother, Delbert Howell of San palo, California; two granddaughters; four grandsons; four great-grandsons; three great granddaughters; and one great great granddaughter.
She loved to garden, read her Bible and Atlanta Braves. Her passion was growing roses.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the advantage South Chapel with burial following at the JonesIOOF Cemetery.
