He formerly served as a principal of Winnsboro H.S. before becoming counselor in the Grand Prairie system, where he was employed for 17 years before his retirement.
Survived by wife, the former Cleda Millard, four children, Mrs. Virginia Handley of Midland, Tommy Patrick of Lexington, KY and Bob and Cherry Patrick of Dallas, three brothers, Gene Patrick of Dallas and Jake and Truitt Patrick of Mount Pleasant, two sisters, Ella Mae Patrick of Arlington and the former Neda Merle Patrick of Houston and three grandchildren.
Funeral services at Grand Prairie, with graveside rites at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hopkins County.
