Fallon Boys' Brother Dies In New Mexico
W.P. (Bill) Fallon, eldest brother of the well known Fallon brothers of southwest of town, died November 14 at Albuquerque, New Mexico in the U.S. Veterans hospital where he had been taken that day. He had been in a serious condition for about a year. Born at Lindsay April 13, 1891, he had lived at Ballenger, Texas the past six years where he worked as cotton buyer.
He was a veteran of the World War and served with the 34th division.
Final rites were held at the Catholic church in Lindsay Monday morning and he was buried with military honors under auspices of the American Legion.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fallon, Lindsay residents for the past 50 years, his brothers, Charles of Ft. Sumner, New Mexico, and John, James and Tom of this place, and his two sisters, Miss Katherine of Lindsay and Miss Margaret of 929 College ave., Fort Worth, Tex.
