Thompson ASHLAND Services for Mrs. Margie Horn Thompson, 92, of Ashland, were Saturday at Ashland First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert L. Ballew III officiating. Burial was in Ashland City Cemetery with Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Thompson died Friday at Clay County Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Effie Mae Brill of Jackson, and Mrs. Edna Barker of Ashland; a son, Milton Thompson of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Pitts and Mrs. Zadie Morgan, both of Ashland; two brothers, Mezick Horn of El Paso, Texas, and Matt Horn of Talladega; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Irving Thompson, Alton T. Thompson, Dean Barker, David Thompson, Morris Brill Jr. and Lee Brill III. Mrs. Thompson was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. She was a housewife and a member of Ashland First United Methodist Church
