LEE POE McDONALD
Rev. James Loma officiated at services held at the Salem Presbyterian church on Dec. 15 for Lee Poe McDonald, 89, who died at his home in Sulphur Dec. 11. Interment was in Salem Cemetery with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home.
McDonald was born August 14, 1891 and came to Sulphur in 1900. He worked for the YCCA until 1950. He was married to Sadie Lewis in 1935. She preceded him in death Nov. 27, 1972.
He is survived by a daughter, Susie Ann Wallace, Sulphur; two sons, Clarence McDonald and Larry McDonald, both of Sulphur; 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. One son, Thomas Lee, preceded him in death in 1977.
