Valley Couple Wed Last Week In Church Here
Miss Nancy Rose and Clayton Charley were married Wednesday, Sept 10, at a quiet ceremony read by the Rev. Kenneth E. nelson at St. Mark's Episcopal church. The bride id a daughter of Mrs. Glen Bailey, 813 South Peach street and the late C. W. Rose and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Charley of Central Point.
William von der Hellen, Jacksonville, grandfather of the bride, gave her in marriage. For her wedding Miss Rose wore a blue suit with black hat and accessories and a lavender orchid. Her attendant, Miss Polly Hoffard, was attired in a green suit worn with brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
Gordon Stanley of Brownsboro was best man for the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Charley are making a wedding trip to the coast and will reside for the present at 813 South Peach street. The bride was graduated from Medford high school last spring and the groom is a navy veteran, having served for two and one-half years.
