Esther L. Rogers, 88, Elizabeth, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Westminster Healthcare.
The daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Adcock, she was a homemaker and a Christian.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Rogers Jr.; a son, Charles H. Rogers III; and six brothers, Raymond, Edward, Harry, Clifford, Frank and Kenneth Adcock.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances A. Tuell of New Albany and Roberta A. Luther of Depauw; a son, Lewis A. Rogers of New Albany; 44 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 29, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel in Jeffersonville.
Funeral: Thursday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Evans Landing Cemetery.
