Adolph C. Ergler, 88, of 221 Parker Ave, Kirklyn, died July 7 at Harris Nursing Home in Yeadon after a one-year illness. Following a bad fall a year ago, he suffered a series of strokes and hardening of the arteries.
Mr. Ergler, who lived in this area 42 years, was employed by Autocar Co. in Ardmore for more than 30 years, not retiring until he was past 80. He was a member of Autocar's Quarter-Century Club.
Surviving are his wife, Maud Page; 3 daughters, the Mmes. Herman Trexel of Boswell, Pa., James Filgate and Richard Galanaugh of Philadelphia; a son, Paul C. of Baltimore, and six sisters.
Funeral was from John P. Donohue and Sones in Upper Darby, and interment was in Johnstown.
