William Franklin Carroll died at his home in Clay Center, Friday, April 12, 1929. He was 63 years of age. He came to Clay county (sic) from Illinois with his parents when he was a child. They died within a few months and he lived for several years with the J. E. Willis family near Fairfield. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Amelia Enwall of Fairfield and two daughters, Goldie and Lois, and two sons, Bernard and Ralph. Mr Carroll lived in Marshall for a number of years and for the past twenty years in Clay Center. Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday, April 14, by Rev E. J. Price and burial was made in the Clay Center cemetery.
