Of Flint, age 90, the brightest light in our lives, "our mama", "grandma" and "little grandma" passed into the arms of her Savior, Thursday, December 28, 1995 at the residence. Funeral service Will be held at 1PM Saturday, December 30, l 1995 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Burial in
Avondale Cemetery. Visitation 9AM-9PM Friday and 9AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Audie Jane was born in Mercer, Tennessee on June 5, 1905 the daughter of John and Ella (Laney) Baker, she was the youngest of 6 children. Her parents died when she was an infant and she was raised by her cousins, Lee and Lela Overton. She had been a resident of Flint since 1928. Audie married Robert Porter Williams on September 29, 1925 in Jackson, Tennessee, and together they had 10 children. He preceded her in death in May 1953. She then married Marion F. Johnson who preceded her in death in January 1964. Mrs. Johnson had worked at Chevrolet during World War II, but was mostly a homemaker and loving mother to her large family. Surviving are her 9 children, Virginia Sandstrom of Moorestown, New Jersey, Robert D. and wife Barb Williams of LaVerne,
California, Yvonne R. Brown of Swartz Creek, Bernelle and husband John McFadden, Dorothy Faye and husband James Banks, Thomas D. Williams, Norma S. Russell, Gary and wife Barb Williams and Larry A. Williams all of Flint; 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends; special and care giver, Trula Parent. Audie was preceded in death by her son, Edward Farrell Williams in October 1994; grandson, Jeffery Banks in December 1973; son-in-law, Jack Sandstrom in October 1991; daughter-in-law, Carol Williams in January 1991; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
