IOKA, Duchesne county - James Burbidge Lemon, 81, died at his residence here Saturday afternoon of causes incident to age. Born Aug. 4, 1876, Kamas, to John Knox and Jane E. Burbidge Lemon. Married Samantha Jane Woodward Dec. 5, 1900. Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints. She died in 1909. Farmer, stockman. Married Eliza Floral Farnsworth March 22, 1911, Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survivors: widow; daughter by first marriage, Mrs. Virgil W. (Marba) Mecham, Roosevelt; three daughters, two sons by second marriage, Mrs. E. Max (Edna) Hartman, Mr. Emmons, Duchesne County; Mrs. George S. (Floral) Davis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J. Glenn (Olive) Morrell, Ithaca, N.Y.; James F. Ioka; Paul B., Vernal; 33 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers three sisters.
funeral Thursday, 1 p.m., Ioka LDS Ward chapel. Friends call at family home Thursday after 10 a.m. Burial Ioka Cemetery by Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt.
