She was born Oct. 15, 1940 in Shawnee to Guy and Pauline (Rushing) McFarland. Carol married the love of her life, Edward Ailey, on Jan. 21, 1957. She was a member of Country Side Baptist Church in Harrah.
Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her life. After becoming a great grandmother, her family nicknamed her "The Great One" for her sense of family, loving spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Carol loved her Lord, and with Him in her heart, loved life, and lived it to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish their memories are her husband of 52 years, Ed Ailey of the home; daughters, Cindy Quinn, Tammy Ailey, and Linda Hagle, all of Harrah; grandchildren, Amanda Fultz, Justin Hagle, Latricia Riffel, Devan Ailey, and Kyle Hagle; great grandchildren, Katie, Lillie, Isaac, Jazmine, and one on the way, Edward; sisters and brothers-in-law, Reita and Kenneth Jackson, Linda Holly, and Teresa and Allen Bray; numerous other family and dear friends.
Visitation will be 8-8 Friday. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home with Brother Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
