William Baxter Brown,69,well known retired farmer of the Brownwood section of Florence County, died at his home yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock. He was taken suddenly ill on Thursday.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Sardis Baptist Church of which he was a member. The services will be conducted by the Rev. G.C. Vause.
Mr. Brown is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Estelle Kirby, of Timmonsville, and Mrs. J.D. Northcutt, of Miami Florida. The following nephews will serve as pallbearers; Wilber Ham, Lowman Kirby, Olie Brown,Vernie Brown, Ido Brown, Eugene Brown. Interment will be at Sardis Burying ground.
Cusaac and Wiggins are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
