"DIED

Old Time Resident Summoned by Death Tuesday Evening

Abe McKinney, another one of our old time settlers, passed away rather suddenly Tuesday evening about 7:30 o'clock, aged seventy-three years.

Mr. McKinney had been around town most of the day apparently feeling all right. He died shortly after having a stroke in his left side which caused apoplexy.

He lived here some twenty-five [years] ago, moved away, and returned to Saguache living here the past three years.

Mr. McKinney was the last survivor of a family of thirteen children.

Funeral services are being held at the Community church this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. C. W. Hardon officiating. Burial at Hillside cemetery."
