James Prentiss Beall

Services for James Prentiss Beall of Wesson were 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beall, 77, died Oct. 30, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Copiah County on Nov. 6, 1926, to Luther Beall and Maggie Davis Beall.

He was self-employed in road construction. He was a Navy veteran, where he was Seaman First Class. He was a member of the American Legion Club. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, George Beall.

Survivors are his wife, Doris F. "Jackie" Beall; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Steve Tressler of Montoursville, Pa., and Susan and Don Nevels of Brookhaven; his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Elaine Beall of Wesson; his sisters, Ruby Montgomery of Brookhaven, and Minnie Wooten of Wesson; his brothers, Dennis Beall and T.D. Beall, both of Wesson, Lee Beall of Hazlehurst and Jack Beall of Kosciusko; his grandchildren, Amanda Everett, Jennifer Fortenberry, Benjamin Beall, Erin Tressler and Chad Tressler; his great-grandchildren, Wyatt Beall Everett, Millie Fortenberry and Ally Everett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
