Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. , He died Friday at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge.
A retired janitor, he was a member of Janitors Union Local No.1. Survivors include his wife, June; daughter, Pearl Goodman; sons, Russell and Val; sister, Alice Reid; brother, Val VanHaelewyn and five grandchildren.
