Hazel McFee Dye, 82, of Rushsylvania, OH, died Sept 28, 2002, at mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, OH.
She was born Feb 2, 1920, a daughter of the late Emmit Earl and Ella Almeda Sleeth McCombs. She retired from DuPont Chemical and previously worked for the American Viscose until it closed, and was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Dye; 2 daughters, Linda Kay Shock and her husband, Bob of Parkersburg,and Shirley Almeda Russell of Parkersburg; one son, David McFee and his wife, Karen of Vienna; one stepdaughter, Eve Alloway and her husband,Jeff, of Green Springs, OH;one step son, Harry Dye and his wife, Wilma, of Belle Center, OH; 9 grandchildren, 7 stepgrandchildren,18 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; one brother, Russell Glen McCombs of New Castle, PA; 4 sisters, Delta Almeda Schunk of Beaver Falls, PA, Edna Marilyn Knotts, of Parkersburg, Ester Eleanor Hersman of Parkersburg, and Helen Ruth Sawyer of Belpre, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James McFee; 2 sisters, Rhoda and Beverly Joann; 2 brothers, John and Emmit Earl Jr; and one stepson, Larry Dye.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home with Evangelist Eddie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt Olivet Cemetery.
