Sudden Death.

The community was greatly shocked Monday morning, Aug. 21, to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. A.D. Anderson. She was apparently in her usual health Sunday and Sunday evening, having visited her mother and sister, Laura, in the afternoon, but about 2:30 a.m. Mr. Anderson noticed an unusual noise, she seemed to be in distress, but she never answered. She had been taking treatment from Dr. Claydon of Red Wing
for her heart for some time, but it was not thought so serious.

Mrs. Anderson was one of the fine women of our community loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge at South Troy and has also been for many years a devoted member of the Wesleyan Methodist church at that place.

The funeral, one of the largest for sometime, was conducted by Rev. Byron Hoover of South Troy from the church at that place Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 23, at 2:00 p.m., and the remains laid to rest in Pleasant
Prairie cemetery. Beautiful floral offerings were made by the different societies, relatives, friends and neighbors.

Mary Helen Everett was born Dec. 3l, 1860. in Zumbro Township. (section missing) N. Dak., where they lived until Nov. 1890 when they came back to Minnesota buying the farm on which they lived up to the time of her death with the exception of six years they lived at Hammond. Mrs. Anderson was a kind neighbor, a devoted wife and loving mother. She leaves to mourn her sudden loss, her husband, one son, Clyde, Supt. of schools, Clearwater, Minn., one daughter, Mrs. Coite Schacht of Hammond, her mother, Mrs. Mary Everett of South Troy, one brother, Geo. H. of South Troy, and four sistets, Mrs. Lucy Robinson of South Troy, Mrs. Alice Bailey of McGrath, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Sadie Deiter of Rochester, Minn., and Laura A. Everett of South Troy.
Besides the above are also many cousins and other relatives. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss they have suffered.
