M. Corderman Sr. Called by Death

Manley Corderman, Sr., 82, died suddenly at his home in Toppenish Tuesday evening.

Mr. Corderman was born August 28, 1874, in Johnson Co, Iowa. He was a farmer by occupation and in his early years, a school teacher. He was a member of the Christian church and the Waterville Grange. He had lived in Toppenish for the past twenty years. Mr. and Mrs. Corderman had been married fifty-seven years and lived near Waterville, in Douglas county, from 1899 until 1936, when they moved to Toppenish.

Services are to be held Friday morning, Dec. 7, at 10 am at Hopkins mortuary. The Rev. J. R. Fite will officiate. Burial will take place Monday at Waterville, Wash.

Mr. Corderman is survived by his wife, Anna; three sons, Manley, Jr., Kennewick; Forest, Medford, Ore., La Grande, Wenatchee; two brothers, two sisters, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
