Mrs. Robert C. Barry, 24, 1014 Howard, died April 27, 1944 in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a brief illness.
Helen Schmidt was born in Utica, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry E. Schmidt and had lived here all her life. She was educated in the local grade schools and Utica Catholic Academy. On June 26, 1937, she married Mr. Barry.
Besides her husband, who is a patrolman in the police bureau, she leaves three children, Barbara Ann, Patricia and Robert James and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Lee, Utica.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Quinn funeral Chapel and from St. Agnes church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
