Katie Marie Burton Morris, age 93, of Coweta passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Coweta, Wagoner County, Oklahoma. Katie was born March 20, 1919 in Royse City, Rockwall County, Texas to the late Robert McMillan "Mack" Burton and Della Davison Burton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Morris, three siblings, Jim Troy Burton, Ruby Dawn Burton, Robert McMillan "Happy" Burton Jr. Katie is survived by two daughters, 5 grandchildren, , 17 great grandchildren and 14 great¬-great grandchildren. Katie is also survived by one brother, . She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends and other family members.
Funeral services for Katie are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Wright-Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta with Rev. David Jones officiating. A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, TX.
